Female leadership, and the creation of new businesses

Last week, our VP Business Development & Operations, Mônica Vilah, participated in the Techstars Startup Weekend Women ABC, a 54-hour immersive experience dedicated to building startups and strengthening female leadership in the innovation ecosystem. Held at the Universidade Federal do ABC in Santo André, the event brought together entrepreneurs, mentors, judges, and professionals from different fields to develop innovative solutions, validate business models, and present projects to an experienced panel.

The initiative is part of the global Techstars Startup Weekend community, present in more than 150 countries and connecting entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors through hands-on innovation experiences. For MZF4, supporting and participating in initiatives like this means strengthening the innovation ecosystem, encouraging diversity, and contributing to the development of new talents and transformative ideas.

At the end of the event, Mônica summarized the spirit of the experience: “Success, and thank you to everyone: organizers, volunteers, participants, judges, supporters, and sponsors.” Congratulations to everyone involved for another initiative that reinforces the Greater ABC region as a strategic hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
