It is with great emotion and gratitude that we reach the end of this special year for all of us at MZF4. Next year we celebrate four decades of a journey marked by overcome challenges, memorable achievements, and a legacy that deeply fills us with pride.
Our path began with the vision and determination of Italian immigrants in Brazil, laying the foundation for a company rooted in family values and entrepreneurial spirit. Over the years, we have grown together, facing obstacles and exploring new horizons.
MZF4 is an integral part of the Mazzaferro Holding, a group that embraces tradition and innovation as fundamental pillars. We tirelessly seek technological advancement in everything we do, driven by the determination to move forward and exceed limits.
The name MZF4 pays homage to our patriarch, Nello Mazzaferro (who left us 12 years ago). The company initially comprised four divisions, with the number #4 focused on globally-reaching technical products. Thus, the brand references the Mazzaferro family (through the letters MZF) alongside the company’s branches, in a modern, concise, and minimalist representation.
We take pride in being the first ISO 56002 certified company (Innovation Management) in Latin America, a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence and continuous evolution. With a global footprint, our efforts are divided into three distinct business units: Mazzaferro Medical, Mazzaferro Household, and Mazzaferro Monofilaments.
The Medical unit is a beacon of innovation, developing high-standard threads for human and veterinary sutures, while the Household division manufactures and markets unparalleled domestic products. Meanwhile, Monofilaments stands as one of the largest producers of technical threads in the Southern Hemisphere, catering to various industries with a wide range of products.
In 2024, we celebrate 40 years of history. In bygone times, it was said that “life begins at 40″… Anyway, our focus remains on the future, where the perception of capability and vitality is more alive than ever. While celebrating four decades of our journey, our gaze remains fixed on the future. Our motto “Celebrating the Future” resonates in every endeavor we undertake, reminding us that, despite our tradition, MZF4 always looks forward.
Therefore, this celebration is not just about the time that has passed, but primarily about the next 40 years and all the lives we have touched and will continue to touch, spanning generations. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey, eagerly anticipating a future filled with new achievements!
